The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Key Responsibilities: Developing projects from a detailed business requirements, working through solutions and managing execution and rollout of these solutions, in the context of an overall consistent global platform Understand business requirements. Create T SQL queries/stored Procedures/Functions/Triggers using SQL Server 2016. Understand basic data warehousing concepts. Design/Develop SSIS packages to pull data from various source systems and load to target tables. May be required to develop Dashboards and Reports using Qlikview/SSRS Work on BAU JIRAs and also do some levels of L3 support related activities whenever required. Providing detailed analysis and documentation of processes and flows where necessary. Qualification: 10+ yrs. of overall IT experience Strong knowledge of database fundamentals and advanced concepts, ability to write efficient sql, tune existing sql 3+ yrs. experience in any ETL tool, preferably SSIS Experience with a reporting tool (e.g. SSRS, QlikView) is a plus Experience with a job scheduling tool (e.g. Autosys) Experience in Finance Industry a plus Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle.
