[ad_1]
Do you dislike giving others tasks or responsibilities during a project because you feel no one can do it as well as you?
Do you find yourself feeling less productive although you are extremely busy?
Do you think by delegating you are losing credibility?
Perhaps you management style needs to be stress relieved.
1) Micro manage- The inability to let go causes unnecessary stress. Micro managers are usually not good leaders. They also have low self-esteem and low self-confidence. The fear that everything will fall apart at the moment your back is turned, does not make you feel good. The people you work with, your team cannot function properly as a team if you hold them back. The other people who work with you, your worker bees, absorb your stress and they lack confidence. You can see that stress and the lack of productivity is the only things accomplished by not delegating.
2) Misunderstood responsibilities-When you are unsure of your own responsibilities or your own abilities, you over exaggerate and are hung up in time- consuming details. This stifles the participation and creativity of others. Your need to get things done sometimes may have to be a bit more flexible. This flexibility reduces stress and increases employee trust.
3) A little goes a long way- Learning to give direction gradually will gain confidence for yourself and the confidence others have in you. Most importantly the minimizing of repeated tasks and errors due to stress and indecision will be noticed and perhaps your positive cash flow will increase. By delegate to others, you gain a better understanding of the project, you learn more about the abilities of your team and you can experience a reduction in stress in a relatively short period of time. All this by simply choosing to delegate.
