Position Overview Role Description Deutsche Bank Securities Services business is offering Custody & Clearing, and Fund Services in more than 20+ markets around the globe. On a monthly basis, (‘DB’) is charging their clients for the services, based on an agreed Rate Card. The process of issuing client invoices is fragmented across various teams and locations globally. The absence of a Global Integrated Billing Solution has resulted into locations developing some tactical tools / End User Managed Applications to tackle some of the laborious manual processes involved within the billing function. DB has started a project towards implementing a Strategic solution (‘ sBilling’ ) for SeS Business globally. Some of the key objectives of the project include the below Reducing complexity, standardizing and simplifying operations processes Eliminating revenue leakage and opportunity misses for business Improving operating efficiency Rationalizing footprint Introduce better MI & Analytics to support decision making process The candidate will be part of the Post Settlement Tribe as Senior Business Functional Analyst for the Billing Squad. In this role, the candidate will support the squad in documenting the current state and future state flows and requirements for the rollout of the Standard Billing feature via sBilling solution. Perform a gap analysis for the features to be delivered within sBilling to be compliant for the SCORE Standards. In addition, collaborate with the Solution Architect to analyse some of the data requirements to support the Standard Billing process. The job of the BFA is essential in delivering high-end products and in supporting the squad in having all documentation detailed and well prepared. Translate business needs by creating models, diagrams, presentations, and other documentations that support the target audience to understand the business requirements Work closely together with the Product Owner and other squad members, to ensure right granularity of requirements specification on an epic / story level. Write detailed business requirements (User Stories and documentation on Confluence where required) Formulates and creates functional / non-functional specification documentations in close partnership with project stakeholders Responsible for eliciting and managing functional requirements in partnership and collaboration with the Operations, Business, Architecture and delivery leads, working in an agile and iterative manner to build out appropriate solutions Ensure the right granularity of user story’s by applying slicing techniques in scope of estimation and completion in a single sprint Liaises with Product Owners and technical community (architects, developers etc.) for solution identification. Provide needed clarifications on requirements to team members Manage requirements using Agile framework i.e., user stories and help drive the agile process forward by participation in backlog grooming, sprint planning, QA, etc. Responsible for supporting the testing requirements together with the QA Team Supports the design and conceptualization of new business solution options and articulates identified impacts and risks Assures that the Product Backlog Items adhere the Definition of Ready before entering in the Sprint Backlog Together with the Scrum Master assures that a proper number of Items enter Sprint Backlog Provides domain and functional expertise as required Understands vision of the product and ensures development activities reflect that vision into the product Drives data discovery and document the data requirements to support the Billing process. Work in collaboration with Architects to identify the future data sources and perform gap analysis for the data requirements to support the Standard Billing MVP. Your skills and experience 10+ Years of experience with minimum of 5 years in BFA domain Experience in a Banking domain and/or related support functions including understanding of products. business and operational processes. Knowledge of Custody Business incl. Billing process would be an advantage. Experience in dealing with Lean Production / Six Sigma (ideally Green Belt/ Black Belt certification) Knowledge/ experience in data science and machine learning will be added advantage Experience in business intelligence and business analytics Experience in business analysis, data analytics, SQL knowledge Experience working closely with Product Owners and Stakeholders along with maintaining product backlogs and driving release content throughout via prioritised stories. Good knowledge of business analysis methods and tools (agile, waterfall, Jira, Confluence, MS Office) Familiar with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc. Ability to work in a Matrix organization with stakeholders spread across geographies. Experience of agile (scrum) methodology Experience in conceptualization and solution definition Good analytical and problem-solving experience Broad knowledge and awareness of (related) business solutions in the marketplace Ability to identify and interpret stakeholders needs and requirements Self-motivated and flexibility to work autonomously coupled with ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organisations including appreciation of different cultures during collaborating and sharing.
