The Supply Chain Data Analyst role is responsible for providing data mining, cleansing, and reporting support to various functions across the entire Supply Chain organization. With an enhanced focus on continuous improvement, this role leads the charge on enabling data driven storytelling, process and network design and optimization, and will enable business owners to make improved decisions through your work. Rather than a siloed role, this function will own the process from discovery through delivery as well as ongoing support of internal customer needs. If you are excited by being free to work on interesting data projects throughout the supply chain and are excited by end-to-end solutions, this role supports that all-in perspective of supply chain operations.
What You Will Do
- Develops dashboards to meet customer expectations and maintains them as the business evolves
- Leads change by developing tools used by Sales and Operations to optimize hauling and logistics operations and strategy
- Become a subject matter expert to develop original strategies for improving the business through data applications
- Provides data profiling regarding the nature of datasets and proposes a combination of cleaning as well as passing along potential source system issues to BI partners
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Analytics, Mathematics, or Computer Science or equivalent work history
- Experience with Excel in the following, ways, but not limited to: pulling data from various sources and creating summaries; developing KPI reports, cost modeling and sales forecasting; setting up interactive pivot tables; using logical functions
- Familiarization with VBA and writing Macros preferred
- 1 – 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations (Transportation, Planning, Inventory) support required
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a manufacturing field in an analytical or planning role preferred
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or another data visualization tool preferred
- Ability to collaborate with internal supply chain customers to determine reporting needs

- Possess strong analytical skills and highly detail oriented
- Apply critical thinking skills to analyze and resolve complex problems
- Work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and/or developer tools (required)
- Strong object-oriented programming skills and comfort with VBA
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, to include expert level skillset with Excel
- Comfort with one or more analytical programming language: R, Python, etc.
