Primary Purpose of Role
Writes codes that introduce a new feature, UI or a transformative platform impacting millions of users. Performance Indicators
Technical Operations
- The delivery, operation, and maintenance of components for internally managed software applications and integrations.
- Perform Code that is readable, maintainable, and sufficiently efficient, tested, and documented to meet the needs of the business.
Software Development
- Keep up to date with the latest software development technologies and methodologies
- Write clean and healthy structured, well documented code
- Build future-proof reusable core code libraries, which can be shared, in order to drive further efficiencies
- Deliver code which is well tested and consistently error free
- Design and build database schemas with integrity and scalability with data access layers that are optimised for performance and security
Communication and Problem Solving
- Contribute regularly to discussions regarding internal process and system improvements in order to ensure maximum efficiency

Position Requirements
Education Qualification in Computer Science or Software Engineering is beneficial
Experience 3 to 5 yrs of relevant experience
Skills / Knowledge
Understanding of web development
Experience in
- Symfony Framework
- Object Oriented Programming Concepts (OOP)/ORM concepts/MVC Architecture
- SOLID Principles
- Design Patterns
- Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)
- Worked on an Enterprise/Microservices App with Php as a backend language
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Resumes to Avoid
1. Does not know or understand OOP
2. Worked mostly on Websites of small companies
3. Worked on WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and any Content Management Systems (CMS).
4. They have not used any framework and used just plain PHP scripting
