3) Laughter from your pets. Your friends will share videos of their pets doing silly actions. Put a soft sock gently over your cat’s head and you have a lot of silly exercise by your cat and a great deal of fun and laughter for you.
4) Laughter with the kids. Your children or someone else’s children can help you to laugh again. Looking at a humorous situation through the eyes of a child, the uninhibited creative silliness of a little child will dissolve the stress and bring smiles and fun to your thoughts.
5) Laughing at ourselves. At first this may seem very difficult for the old grumpy you. Learning to not take your self so seriously is extremely important. Your ability to look at your short comings and imperfections with a lighter hearted outlook will help you to see that perhaps the situation you are in will not be as extremely important in a few days or even a few weeks from now. Relax and allow yourself to laugh at yourself. A belly laugh will do wonders for eliminating all kinds of stress. You will also find that after a few good sighs you will be able to think clearer and you may have a solution you were not thinking of earlier.
