The Document Caused Serious Error – Word Error and Recovery
If a Microsoft Word document crashes unexpectedly when you try to open it, the application adds the file to list of Disabled Items to avoid further issues. You cannot open such file unless you manually enable it. At times, when you fail to open the document even after re-enabling it through suitable options, the odds are that the document is corrupted. You should then use your recent file backup to restore such damaged documents or scan your damaged file by using advanced Word Repair tools.
