WearEver Pressure Cooker – Product Description and Review
[ad_1]
WearEver has been in the business since 1903 and they offer a wide variety of cookware and bake ware products. They are presently a division of the company called Group SEB which is a manufacturer of small domestic equipment and carries known brands like T-fal and Krups. They also own and handle the parts and warranty service of Mirro pressure cookers.
WearEver pressure cooker is available in 6 or 8 quart sizes and are made either of heavy gauge aluminum materials or stainless steel. With the the aluminum made ones, they boast of these cookwares as being able to resist rust and are safe to clean in the dishwasher. If you investigate its safety features, you will be find three parts which are the sure-locking lid system, the reusable safety release plug and the side gasket pressure release. Moreover, the handle has a pressure monitoring device built into it to regulate the pressure in the cookware while its being used. The stainless steel ones have an encapsulated base wherein there is aluminum sandwiched in between stainless steel materials to achieve the even distribution of heat.
WearEver pressure cookwares are not that versatile as there are only two sizes available. They are specifically for medium to large families or for cooking for a crowd. Upon further research, we also found that that some of their models have a 10psi cooking pressure which is a disadvantage because the standard ones are 15psi. This means the food will cook slower compare to the others thereby defeating its purpose of saving time. Design wise, its not as attractive as the other brand names within the same price range.
